A field experiment was conducted in an agricultural field in the Abu Ghraib area, 20 km west of Baghdad, during the spring season of 2026, in soil with a sandy clay texture, to determine the effect of spraying with proline and adding potassium on the growth and productivity of the Santa potato variety. A two-factor experiment was conducted, which included the first factor represented the spraying with proline, denoted as (P), at concentrations of (150, 175, and 200 mg L-1), in addition to a control treatment; and the second factor was adding Nano-potassium K2O, denoted as (K), at concentrations of (20, 30, and 40 kg ha-1), in addition to a control treatment. The experiment was implemented within a randomized complete block design (RCBD) with three replications. The results were statistically analyzed, and the mean treatments were compared at a probability level of 0.05 to test for the least significant difference. The results showed that the two-way interaction between the two study factors at the highest concentrations of each achieved the highest results in plant height, number of stems, leaf area, dry weight of the vegetative mass, and total yield, reaching (82.20 cm plant-1, 4.16 stems plant-1, 186.53 dm² plant-1, 82.01 g plant-1, and 56.55 t ha-1) respectively. The control values were (61.12 cm plant-1, 2.36 stems plant-1, 110.64 dm² plant-1, 19.63 g plant-1, and 33.33 t ha-1) respectively.
